Me? I’m Ross Hawkes, a lecturer at Birmingham City University and the founder of hyperlocal site www.lichfieldlive.co.uk. My interests are primarily around the areas of digital media, social media and the future of journalism. I don’t profess to be right about everything but I have pretty forthright views about how traditional media businesses and journalists are in danger of missing the boat as the tide goes out while they bury their heads in the sand (think that’s about enough nautical euphemisms!).
